Clark County Recent Arrest Sources
The Clark County Sheriff's Office runs the county jail. It also supplies the two main county paths for arrest data. One is a live roster. The other is a page of weekly arrest reports published as PDFs. Each tool answers a different question. A new booking may reach the live roster long before the weekly report appears, and an old PDF can stay online after a person leaves the jail. The official sheriff website is where both begin.
Use the roster and the report links as two tools.
| Window | Official source | Best use | Limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Current or same day | Sheriff roster and JailTracker | Check current custody | No stated refresh time, retention period, or verified photo rule |
| Weekly | Sheriff arrest-report PDFs | Review a completed date range | Delayed, text-only in inspected samples, not a live custody list |
| Five days | Missouri State Highway Patrol | Cross-check an MSHP arrest | Agency-limited and preliminary |
| After filing | Missouri Case.net | Follow the court case | Not a jail feed |
Need the narrow window? Arrests Last 24 Hours explains the live-roster fallback. The Police Blotter page then walks through the weekly PDF and the archive.
Source note: Record the exact page, date, and time used. A later roster state can differ from the screen first reviewed, while the completed weekly report may supply agency and bond detail that the live result did not preserve.
Search the Clark County Jail Roster
The official roster wrapper opens the Clark County Missouri Public Safety Cloud application. No fixed update schedule is posted. Nor is a release-removal rule or a written booking-photo policy. Historical depth goes undocumented too. Read the labels the live page shows rather than assuming every expected field will appear.
| Field to check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Full name and age or birth date | Separates people with similar names |
| Booking or intake date | Connects a result to the event |
| Current custody label | Shows whether the match is held now |
| Arresting agency | Identifies the incident-record custodian |
| Charges and bond | Records charges and release terms, not guilt |
| Release or disposition | May explain roster removal |
| Public image | Must be verified live |
Search the full legal name first. Write down the date and time you searched. Compare the booking date and arresting agency against the event you mean. An empty result? Try spelling variants, then move to the weekly report. Call the sheriff at 660-727-2911 when you need a prompt custody answer, or send a focused Sunshine Law request for the public record. Emptiness can mean release, delay, an outage, or a record closed by law. What if someone was booked and released? A released person can drop off a current roster while the weekly report, agency file, or court case lives on. For ongoing custody notices, the VINELink Custody Check helps, though Clark County participation should be confirmed inside the live system.
Where Clark County Arrests Appear
Official sources should lead every lookup. Local news may add context and unofficial sites may republish data, but neither replaces the record custodian. The county lists no mobile booking app.
| Channel | Photo status | Authority | Use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sheriff live roster | Verify live | Official county wrapper | Current-custody candidate |
| Sheriff weekly reports | No photos in inspected PDFs | Official county | Multi-day history and agency detail |
| MSHP search | Use displayed fields only | Official state | Recent patrol arrests |
| Case.net | Not a photo source | Official court | Charges, hearings, outcomes |
| Kahoka Media and NEMOnews | Article-dependent | Secondary news | Context requiring verification |
| Busted Newspaper, RecentlyBooked, Mugshots.com | May republish images | Unofficial | Stale-prone leads only |
The Kahoka Media sheriff column is shown in this research capture.
It is a secondary republication. Check names, dates, and outcomes with the sheriff. Commercial pages can linger online long after a release or a correction.
Recent Arrests by Clark County City
Kahoka, Clark, and Wyaconda are the three city pages. They come from the 2020 Census incorporated-place ranking. Each page explains the local agency gap and points to the county path rather than inventing a municipal feed.
- Kahoka Recent Arrests: Kahoka Police can appear as an arresting agency, while booking and the public roster route through the county jail.
- Clark Recent Arrests: Clark Police is documented in the state agency directory, but no separate city blotter was found.
- Wyaconda Recent Arrests: no verified city police roster was located, so county and MSHP sources lead.
A city name only hints at where an incident happened. It does not tell you which jail took the person. Confirm both the arresting agency and the booking destination for the specific event.
Clark County Arrest Record Fields
A booking record is built at the jail. It is not the officer's incident report. It is not the court docket either. The sheriff's weekly PDFs carry a useful set of fields but show no booking number or mugshot. Live-roster labels can differ, so copy the wording the source itself displays.
| Field | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Name, age, residence | Identity details printed in the weekly report |
| Arrest date and time | When the listed event occurred |
| Arresting agency | Sheriff, Kahoka Police, MSHP, or another office |
| Charge or warrant language | The stated charge or legal basis |
| Bond | The stated release amount or form |
| Held or released notation | A custody result, not a judgment |
| Booking number and photo | Not in inspected weekly PDFs |
A released notation does not close the case. Match the record to Case.net by identity and case details. Then follow the docket to the end.
Clark County Mugshots and Photos
Clark County publishes no official photo gallery. The weekly arrest PDFs are text-only. The roster wrapper gives no clue about images, since the live application decides what appears. If a booking image does show up there, match it to the other booking fields before trusting it. Photos are a separate question here.
No image showing? Ask the sheriff for the public part of the booking record and any releasable photograph. Missouri Chapter 610 may grant access while allowing redaction or closure for juvenile, sealed, expunged, protected, or investigative material. Missouri Department of Corrections results cover state prisoners and supervised people, not fresh county bookings. A DOC photo reflects that later state record.
Unofficial photo publishers can be incomplete, duplicated, or stale after release. Old pages linger. Correct the official source first, then use a publisher's free correction channel and a search engine's stale-result tool where it makes sense.
Request a Clark County Arrest Record
Clark County publishes no booking-record request form. The sheriff's office also lists no fee schedule, records-unit phone line, or office hours. Its contact page shows 518 N Lincoln St, Kahoka, MO 63445, telephone 660-727-2911, fax 660-727-2445, and clarksheriff@clarkmosheriff.com. A second county page lists a different email. Confirm which inbox is watched before sending anything urgent. The official sheriff contact page displays those details for anyone asking about a Clark County arrest record.
This county route covers what the weekly reports miss.
- Identify the person, approximate arrest date, arresting agency, and exact record or photo sought.
- Address the request to the current records custodian under Missouri's Sunshine Law and ask for public portions.
- Request a cost estimate and response schedule before authorizing copies.
- Ask for a written legal basis if part is withheld, and narrow a broad request when practical.
- For a wrong entry, attach the court disposition, expungement order, or authoritative correction.
Missouri sets a deadline for record custodians. A response should come as soon as possible. And in no case later than the end of the third business day. The reply may explain a delay instead of handing over records. Three days is not a promise. Copy and research fees depend on the work and format. Clark County publishes no set booking-record price.
Missouri Arrest Law and Removal
RSMo §610.100 controls who may see incident and arrest reports in Missouri. Some uncharged and investigative records stay closed. One open field does not open the whole file. A booking photo, juvenile detail, protected identity, or active-investigation material can still be withheld.
RSMo §407.1150 limits when sites may charge for removing criminal-record information and booking photographs. The statute covers specific circumstances only. It does not require every accurate record to disappear.
Read the current statute text, and get legal advice for your own situation. Missouri offers expungement paths through §§610.122 and 610.140. Arrest-only and broader expungement carry different eligibility limits and waiting periods. Section 610.141 builds an automatic-expungement framework. It rolls out in technical phases. An eligible person should still obtain official confirmation. Then send it to each custodian. Section 610.124 covers effects like blackout or removal from state electronic files. Yet nothing guarantees instant deletion from an old PDF, an outside site, or a search result.
Clark County Booking Record Retention
Missouri's Sheriff Records Retention Schedule sets minimum five-year periods for routine arrest records, inmate files after release, and general jail activity logs. Arrest files may hold logs, registers, fingerprints, and booking sheets. Inmate files cover the reason for confinement plus admission and release material. Fingerprints, photographs, and biometrics usually go to the Missouri State Highway Patrol repository. Local copies may survive as reference records. These rules are agency minimums. They promise no public online access and no destruction on the first eligible date.
Warrant records follow different rules. They may be kept until a warrant expires, is vacated, is recalled, or is served and returned to court. Jail audio and video get an initial review period. Significant footage may stay until related proceedings end. A legal hold, audit, or open case can change any file. Ask the custodian about the exact series instead of assuming one destruction date covers a whole booking file.
The sheriff's public PDF archive reaches back to 2018. No county statement promises it stays online forever. Older Clark County material can be researched through the Missouri State Archives, its county-record database, and the Clark County guide. The Archives is not a live booking search. Routine county files do not transfer there automatically. A chosen historical series may be archived while a routine record is lawfully destroyed after its required period. Clark County posts no booking-photo collection online. The penitentiary photo collection covers state correctional history. That historical Missouri State Penitentiary material should never be treated as a current Clark County mugshot source.
Clark County Arrest Warrants
Clark County publishes no active-warrant portal. The sheriff's site lists no most-wanted page, reward offer, or warrant-photo gallery either. Skip commercial warrant sites. The weekly PDFs sometimes note a warrant arrest. They are not a complete warrant list.
For a possible court warrant, search Missouri Case.net by name or case number. Then ask the Clark County Circuit Clerk at 660-727-3292 about public docket status. For service or custody, call the sheriff. Sealed matters and fresh filings may not appear in the docket. Anyone named in a warrant should talk with counsel or the court rather than trust an unofficial result.
After a Clark County Arrest
Booking and court are two separate records. Case.net may show filed charges, hearings, and pleas. Judgments and sentences appear there too, once the clerk enters the case. The Clark County Circuit Clerk serves the First Judicial Circuit. The clerk warns that some tickets take up to 25 days to enter. An empty early docket does not mean no arrest happened. The official Circuit Clerk page lists clerk contacts and the statewide court route.
Bond is a release condition. It says nothing about how the case ends. A disposition is the recorded resolution, whether dismissal, amendment, plea, trial decision, or sentence. Follow the arrest through that later record before stating any outcome.
Missouri and Federal Custody Records
State custody in Missouri means the Department of Corrections. The MODOC offender search tracks people serving time in state institutions, plus those on probation or parole. It is not a Clark County jail roster. Fresh bookings never show up there. Once someone is sentenced into the state system, search that database and match the state identifier and status.
Federal custody works differently. The Bureau of Prisons locator finds federal prisoners, though it posts no booking photos. ICE's online locator handles immigration holds. Marshal Service custody is trickier. That stage often takes a call to the agency or the court.
Every one of these tools maps a different stage of an arrest record. A name can drop off the county roster after a release or transfer while the arrest report still sits online. So figure out where the person falls first. Booked, held, released, in court, sent to MODOC, or held on federal charges. Then pick the source built for that answer.
